Frequently Asked Questions

How are stats gathered?

We use the stats from each team's scorekeeper assigned by that team's coach.

Do scouts attend the games?

Yes, in our first season, we had many scouts at the games and some players signed based off their performance in the KCCBL. We expect that to continue to grow in our 2nd year and beyond.

Do I need to be on a college team to play?

Our league is open to players that have graduated high school and will be playing at the next level.

Can parents come watch the games?

Parents are more than welcome to come to the games and watch, and admission is free of charge!

Are there bat restrictions?

The KCCBL is a wood bat baseball league. Only wood bats are allowed.

When and where are the games played?

KCCBL teams play double headers twice a week on weekdays. Many doubleheaders start at 11am - some at 6pm - and are played at either Creekside Ballpark in Parkville, MO or Homefield Baseball Complex in Kansas City, KS.
